In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Dengan menyebut nama Allah Yang Maha Pengasih lagi Maha Penyayang
2.1. Alif. Laam. Miim.
2.1. Alif. Laam. Miim.
ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ 
2.2. This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil).
2.2. Kitab (Al Quraan) ini tidak ada keraguan padanya, petunjuk bagi mereka yang bertaqwa.
الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
2.3. Who believe in the unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them.
2.3. (yaitu) mereka yang beriman kepada yang ghaib, yang mendirikan shalat, dan menafkahkan sebahagian rezki yang Kami anugerahkan kepada mereka.
والَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
2.4. And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter.
2.4. dan mereka yang beriman kepada Kitab (Al Qur'an) yang telah diturunkan kepadamu dan Kitab-kitab yang telah diturunkan sebelummu, serta mereka yakin akan adanya (kehidupan) akhirat.
أُوْلَـئِكَ عَلَى هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
2.5. These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful.
2.5. Mereka itulah yang tetap mendapat petunjuk dari Tuhan mereka, dan merekalah orang-orang yang beruntung.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ
2.6. As for the disbelievers, whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them, they believe not.
2.6. Sesungguhnya orang-orang kafir, sama saja bagi mereka, kamu beri peringatan atau tidak kamu beri peringatan, mereka tidak juga akan beriman.
خَتَمَ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهمْ وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عظِيمٌ
2.7. Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom.
2.7. Allah telah mengunci-mati hati dan pendengaran mereka, dan penglihatan mereka ditutup. Dan bagi mereka siksa yang amat berat.
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
2.8. And of mankind are some who say: We believe in Allah and the Last Day, when they believe not.
2.8. Di antara manusia ada yang mengatakan: "Kami beriman kepada Allah dan Hari kemudian," pada hal mereka itu sesungguhnya bukan orang-orang yang beriman.
يُخَادِعُونَ اللّهَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُم وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
2.9. They think to beguile Allah and those who believe, and they beguile nonesave themselves, but they perceive not.
2.9. Mereka hendak menipu Allah dan orang-orang yang beriman, padahal mereka hanya menipu dirinya sendiri sedang mereka tidak sadar.
فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّهُ مَرَضاً وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ
2.10. In their hearts is a disease, and Allah increaseth their disease. A painful doom theirs because they lie.
2.10. Dalam hati mereka ada penyakit, lalu ditambah Allah penyakitnya, dan bagi mereka siksa yang pedih, disebabkan mereka berdusta.
